iPhone: AT&T vs. Verizon

For those of you who are loaded down with questions about what to do about getting an iPhone or changing plans if you already own one, there’s a great article on Lifehacker that can help you out. Thanks to our tech guru WFTV’s Dave Sirak for pointing the link out to me.

What to choose for iPhones? AT&T or Verizon?

I have an iPhone with AT&T and I loathe the signal strength and dropped calls. However, I was not aware that you will not be able to talk and surf the web simultaneously with Verizon’s iPhone….yet. I guess they’re working on a fix for that.

So there are pros and cons for each device/service. But before jumping ship from AT&T, I’m going to wait – something I failed to do when the iPhone first came out. I was one of ‘those guys’ who waited in line forever to get my hands on it – all while paying ridiculous prices. But I have had years of entertainment, fancy features, apps and fun (oh, and dropped calls).

They can’t take that away from me. I still think the iPhone rivals any cell phone out there. As for service: AT&T is the weakest link!
